Temp tags that track themselves
Every deal gets a temp tag that's good for ~30 days — and nobody has time to babysit a spreadsheet. In AllStateDMVs there's nothing to add: the moment a quote is issued and sent to F&I, a tracked temp tag is created automatically with the countdown already running. On day 25 — five days before it dies — you get an email and an in-app alert. Second tag issued? One click extends it 30 more days.
A preview. Tags appear here automatically as quotes are issued — searchable by deal #, customer #, or VIN last-6.
How it works
Created automatically
The moment a quote is completed and sent to F&I, a temp tag record spawns on its own — issue date set to the quote date, expiration 30 days out. Nothing to type, nothing to remember.
Day-25 alerts
Five days before expiration — day 25 of the 30-day tag — the clerk gets an email digest and an in-app alert. Early enough to act, late enough to matter.
Extend & finalize
Second temp tag issued? One click adds 30 days and re-arms the alerts. Permanent plate in? Mark it awaiting shipment and finalize with the FedEx tracking number.
